(1,346 mm) fork spread, pin-type “C” carriage has a high strength-to-weight ratio and the hammer forged, heat treated, alloy steel forks are fully adjustable. (Optional integral sideshift, fork positioner, carriage available. The forks sideshift and fork position within the carriage.) The lift and tilt cylinders have chrome-plated rods and self adjusting packing. Tilt cylinders are low mounted for increased operator visibility. The standard mast is a 2-stage, telescopic I -beam design that can be safely and easily removed. A variety of mast styles and lift heights are available. The mast and carriage main rollers are common and use sealed roller bearings. The side wear pads are adjustable to compensate for wear. The new XC Cushion Tire series of propane and diesel powered models offers 18,000 to 35,000 lbs. at 24” L.C. of heavy lift capability for space conscious applications in confined areas. ( 2,489 mm ) Wheelbase * All models are available with either diesel or LP gas systems Overview The Taylor engineered, single cylinder, steer axle is massive in size and strength, engineered and proven for the most rigorous and demanding of applications. High load, non-marking tires. Planetary drive axle with fully enclosed, hydraulic actuated, oil cooled wet disc brakes with hydraulic accumulator emergency fail-safe back-up capability. The XC series is only 56.5-in. wide overall with a very short turn radius, engineered and designed to provide both strength and maneuverability. The XC series comes standard with 2 strobe lights, 3 work lights, and stop/turn/tail and back-up lights. Deep, wide, 2 step operator access. Canopy has a bronze tinted, poly- carbonate skyview window. The one-piece instrument panel flips down for easy servicing. The fully hydrostatic, steer-on-demand, tilt steering system provides constant response at all engine speeds. XC comes standard with an adjustable, partial rotation, (16° left, 24° right) vinyl covered, air suspension seat with arm rests and orange seat belt. The arm rest has an integrated joystick control.
